Grooming Your Puppy (Part 4 of 7):

Check out your puppy’s ears. Do they smell fresh or cheesy? Drop eared dogs especially seem to be prone to ear infections. By keeping the ear clean and free of dirt and debris your puppy will have clean smelling, healthy ears. You can clean the ear with warm water and a cotton ball unless otherwise instructed by your veterinarian. Some people will pluck the hairs around the ear to make life more comfortable for their dog.
